About the event

Consider This Theatre Company invites you to auditions for its third production of 2024, The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon will be held Sunday, April 7th and Monday, April 8th at 6:30 p.m. at Mills-Pate Arts Center, 7120 Old Nashville Highway. Callbacks will be held April 9th, if needed. Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. This cast is an ensemble of anywhere from 5 - 43 people. This is a great opportunity for the whole family to get involved in a show from onstage to backstage. We have a place for everyone.

Show dates will be June 7 - 9 and 14-16. Friday and Saturday performances will be at 7:30 pm and Sunday at 2 pm. There is a possibility we will have Saturday day performances if we have a large cast for a sensory friendly show.

The fairy tales of the Brothers Grimm are turned on their heads in this fast-paced, rollicking ride as two narrators and several actors attempt to combine all 209 stories ranging from classics like Snow White, Cinderella, and Hansel and Gretel to more bizarre, obscure stories like The Devil's Grandmother and The Girl Without Hands. A wild, free-form comedy with lots of audience participation and madcap fun.
