Consider This Theater is excited to announce our first year of summer camps. Pricing is $125 for one child. If you have additional children or if your child wants to bring a friend it will be $100 per additional child.
This year, we will be offering two camps:
An elementary aged camp for rising 1st through 5th graders, July 22 - 26 with a performance on Saturday 7/27 at 10 am
A middle-high school camp for rising 6th through 12th graders, July 29 - August 2 with a performance on Saturday 8/3 at 10 am
The elementary camp will explore many different elements of theater. Whether your child has been in theater for years or is brand new to it they will learn and grow. They will work as a group to create a story and bring it to life while learning valuable acting, directing, and stage crew skills. There will be a performance at 10 am on Saturday, 7/27 to see what your children have created.
The middle-high school camp will focus on characterisation and how to develop a character and make it their own. They will do so while learning to produce a show in a week. Whether your child has been in theater for years or is brand new they will learn new skills and grow as performers. For this week of camp, we will learn and perform Once Upon A Crime written by E. Roy Lee, a fairy tale murder mystery with a fun cast of characters. This is a one act play that they will perform on Saturday, 8/3 at 10 am.
